Rishi

Rishikesh Narayanan (rishi iisc.ac.in)

Rishi obtained his Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (Advisor: Prof. Y. V. Venkatesh). After that, he held two postdoctoral positions, the first at the National Centre for Biological Sciences, Bangalore (Advisor: Prof. Sumantra Chattarji), and the second at the University of Texas at Austin (Advisor: Prof. Daniel Johnston). He returned to the Institute in July 2009.

Poonam

Poonam Mishra (poonam iisc.ac.in)

Poonam obtained her M. Sc. in Biomedical Genetics from VIT University, Vellore. She joined the Institute as a Ph.D. student in August 2013. She submitted her thesis in July 2019, and is continuing in the laboratory as a postdoctoral fellow.

Reshma

Reshma Basak (reshmab iisc.ac.in)

Reshma obtained her M. S. in Biological Sciences from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata. She joined the Institute as a Ph.D. student in August 2014. She submitted her thesis in July 2019, and is continuing in the laboratory as a postdoctoral fellow.

Pavithraa

Pavithraa Seenivasan (pavithraa iisc.ac.in)

Pavithraa obtained her B. Tech. in Industrial Biotechnology from the SASTRA University, Thanjavur. She joined the Institute as a Ph.D. student in July 2015.

Divyansh

Divyansh Mittal (divyansh iisc.ac.in)

Divyansh obtained his B. Sc. (Hons.) in Biomedical Sciences from the Acharya Narendra Dev College, University of Delhi. He joined the joined the laboratory as an integrated Ph.D. student in May 2016 (August 2015 batch).

Rituparna

Rituparna Roy (rituparnaroy iisc.ac.in)

Rituparna obtained her M. Sc. in Biotechnology from the Savitribai Phule Pune University. She joined the Institute as a Ph.D. student in August 2018.

Richa

Richa Sirmaur (richasirmaur iisc.ac.in)

Richa obtained her M. Sc. in Biotechnology from the Savitribai Phule Pune University. She joined the Institute as a Ph.D. student in August 2019.

 

UG Students

Ankit

Ankit Roy (ankitroy iisc.ac.in)

Ankit is a Biology-Major B.S. student at the Institute (Batch of 2016). He joined the laboratory for his final year B.S. project in January 2019.


Research Trainees

Sameera

Sameera Shridhar

Sameera obtained her B. Tech. in Biomedical Engineering from the Vellore Institute of Technology. She joined the laboratory as a research trainee in August 2019.
